When Patty from P.W. Designs got her hands on him, she knew she'd turn that frown upside down. She saw the potential in him when others didn't. She was able to look past his beat up legs and scraped up drawers. (His mother must not have told him he should change those every day. Hehehehehe...)
You may recall we have met our friend Patty before when we featured her turned leg sofa table a short while ago. Patty thought long and hard about trying to preserve what was his current state but became inspired to turn this tallboy into a very handsome guy.
She painted the body with Sherwin Williams paint and sealed it with wax. The top and details were stained with Minwax Walnut stain and sealed with poly. The original hardware was painted in Oil Rubbed Bronze. Now he is handsome indeed!
Let's take a gander at him now...
Look at how the wood pops against the white and the details really stand out now. He looks like he is wearing formal attire! Quite distinguished looking.
You can check out more of Patty and P.W. Designs on her Facebook page. Let her know you saw her on Furniture Flippin'. She is based in St. Louis, Missouri.
