Why are we going to Paris, Ontario? We're going to meet a talented lady named Rita of Play It Again, Sam.
Rita recently got back into painting after taking a long absence from it. She spotted this table at a secondhand shop and devised a plan for it...
She painted this 34" round table in old ochre. Then she traced the French graphics on that she purchased from The Graphics Fairy. Once traced on, she handpainted them in black. The entire table was distressed, then she followed it with both clear and dark wax for an old antique appearance.
Let's take a look at that table now...
And a closer look...
Lovely! What an improvement on an otherwise non-descript table.
You can see more of Rita's work on her Play It Again, Sam Facebook page. Check out all of her furniture photos on there and let her know you saw her on Furniture Flippin'.
Thanks so much Rita for sharing your furniture flip! Keep 'em coming!
If you have a furniture makeover you'd like to share with our readers, well, we'd love to show off your work, too! Email your before/after pics and all of the details to us at furnitureflippin@yahoo.com .
