There is a Mr. & Mrs. in the Sunshine state that tackle furniture flippin' together. They tag-team it. (See, Triple H, there are others out there just like us!) They find old furniture and make it new again. They are Ilene and Steven of Treasures Rediscovered.
Not too long ago they rescued this old French Provincial dresser from a local Habitat For Humanity Restore...
It's pretty but dated. They decided to paint it with Annie Sloan Duck Egg and Old White. They distressed the edges to give it a worn look. The top they left natural and the original hardware they kept, too. They finished the piece with Annie Sloan clear wax. It quickly became one of their favorite flips upon completion.
Let's take a gander at it, shall we?
Isn't she a beauty now? We're not the only ones that think she is because she was quickly bought up! Now she has her own home with a new family. It's another happy ending for an old piece of furniture!
You can check out more of their work at their Treasures Rediscovered Facebook page. If you live in Florida, you can see their stuff in person at Adjectives Market, Altamonte Springs, Fl and Renningers Antique Market, Mount Dora, FL.
Thanks Ilene & Steven for sharing your very glam furniture flip with us!
