New Life For A Dumpster Dweller...

Oh, the joy of spying something awesome in, on, or near a dumpster.  Dumpster = FREE.  Free = good.

Serena at Thrift Diving was lucky enough to happen upon a throwaway desk in the dumpster one morning on her way to work.  She knows that when you spot it, you better grab it.  She lugged it home and was determined to make it beautiful.

Here's the before...
I have to admit, I might have passed that one on by.

Serena got busy and after some priming, patching and painting she created a hip and trendy desk that has many many more years of life left in it and a ton of beauty.  Want to see the after?

Here she is...
Beautiful!  Who'd a thunk it?  To read more about this desk makeover and the ombre finish she applied using Annie Sloan chalk paint, head over to Thrift Diving.

You can also hang out with Serena on her Thrift Diving Facebook page.  Let her know you saw her on Furniture Flippin'.

Thanks Serena for sharing your fabulous furniture flip!
