Ornate Round Table Seeking Companion...

...pieces in the form of chairs.  Must be complimentary and able to adapt easily to new surroundings.  Willingness to change appearance is a must.  Strength of legs and ability to support the bulk of the weight of our relationship is a plus.  Cheap inferior quality chairs need not apply.

So could have read the personal ad that today's table might have placed for it's soon to be partner's - the chairs.  If tables placed personal ads.  Which they don't.  Although that would be kind of cool if they did.  I know you think it would be, too.  After all, there are a lot of people who read this blog that talk and listen to their furniture.  Don't deny it.  You've told me you do and I'll whip out those emails to prove it if you DO deny it!  (So there!)

Say hello to April of My Three C's.  April was the lucky high bidder at auction of this in need of a facelift wood table...

Alas, this poor soul came alone.  He waited patiently, as did his new benefactor, for the right set of chairs to accompany him to all of the most important dinners he would attend.

Then along came these four ladies...

Will you look at the gams on them!  Somebody's been doing some leg lifts!!  Nice job girls!

April was going for the classic and clean look when tackling this transformation.  She painted the chairs and table with a great country white.  Then she distressed and antiqued them to give them that chippy country cottage(y) feel.  For added protection she sealed it with polyurethane.  The chair cushions she recovered in a green and aqua stripe fabric which lent a nice coastal feel to them.

Let's take a look-see at this party of five now...

...and a closer look at the handsome legs the table sports as well...

I'd say that's a match made in furniture heaven.  If I were to venture a guess, and I think I will, I predict they will live a long and happy life together, all five of them.  I wonder what type of dinner will be placed upon them tonight?  That depends on the new owner and their cooking abilities.  This quintuplet was sold within 30 minutes of April posting it online.  AMAZING!  Let that be a lesson to you him-hawers out there.  While you are mulling over whether to purchase something lovingly refurbished by a furniture flipper, someone else is, too.  So you better move quick.

You can follow along with April and her adventures on her My Three C's blog.   In addition to seeing her there, for you social media masters, check out her My Three C's Facebook page.   Let her know you saw her on Furniture Flippin'.  Also, don't forget people who know how to peck out letters on a keyboard, we welcome comments here on the blog as well.  So, if you read or see something you like, let everybody know!  Don't be keeping it to yourself.  Where's the fun in that?

Thank you April for sharing your super lovely furniture flip!  Nice touch with the "graffiti" you put on the wall in that picture above, too!  Pretty clever lady!
