Who, Who, Who...

...funny thing about the title of today's blog post.  It is actually the line I had in a 5th grade play oh so many years ago.  (No, I won't tell you HOW many years ago.)  The play was called The Reluctant DragonI played the part of a villager.  I remember my line, "Who?  Who?  Who?" and thinking I sounded like an owl.  That brings us to today's featured flip.  (I'm quite the master of segues, aren't I?)

Let's meet Vonda of Antiqued With Love.  Vonda purchased this in good condition but so terribly ugly chest of drawers.  You might say it was a pestilential scourge.  (< My FAVORITE line of that play.  A few of my Sherman School buddies and I still recite that line all of these decades later.  We're weird.)

It was missing a couple of knobs and Vonda found some sweet owl ones to replace them.  She decided then to go all out and continue with the owl theme by painting the cute silhouette of an owl on a branch of a tree.

Super cute, isn't it?  Her customers thought so!  One bought it up right away for her little girl's room which was decorated in owls and bright colors.  She asked Vonda to add some fun colors to this piece and Vonda happily obliged.  Now it perfectly matches the room.

Isn't that adorable?  What little girl wouldn't LOVE that!  Vonda has had many requests to duplicate this look and is always on the lookout for more sturdy dressers.

Let's take a look at it in it's new home...
